How it works
The calculator multiplies your coffee dose by the selected brew ratio to determine water volume. Default ratios follow widely-accepted standards from the SCA and specialty coffee community. Adjust the ratio slider to match your taste preference — lower ratios produce a stronger cup, higher ratios a lighter one. Grind size, temperature, and time recommendations are starting points; fine-tune them based on your equipment and beans.
